Torshovtoppen is a 16mm color film and a poster book about the area Torshovtoppen in Oslo, documenting the old public garden at a moment when the place has been sold to private investors. Questions about privatization of public space and ideology connected to city planning is actualized by the subtle traces in the film and leads to a negotiation on how the city is read, identified and classified; they comment on how place is generated, transformed and developed within political, economic, cultural and social aspects.
